I’m delighted that you are here to see what I’ve been up to lately.
Change has been my only constant ithe past few years, so it feels really good to be launching a new website to celebrate an artistic renaissance.
After I closed my light-filled studio in downtown Indianapolis in 2010, I put everything in storage and shifted gears. Years went by. As I focused on other priorities, the studio remained in boxes for nearly a decade. Eventually, I even took down my old website.
Then the pandemic arrived.
I unpacked the boxes, set up a working studio and started making art again.

On-Ramp Accelerator
in 2021 I received a fellowship from the Indiana Arts Commission for the 2021 Cohort of the On-Ramp Accelerator for Creative Entrepreneurs.
Designed for early career artists to kick start a creative business in Indiana, I leaned into my age, making the argument that I knew how to make art and I knew how to run a business, but I did not know how to use modern tools for marketing and selling my work online.
With the generous support of the IAC grant, I’ve been working for the past 18 months to renew my art practice while simultaneously upgrading my technology and developing a marketing strategy to take my art to a wider audience online.

It is with profound gratitude
that I am launching into 2023 with a renewed vision for making and sharing my art to a wider audience.
